I’m not into Indie rock music, but I have to tell you that on channel 1 of the Italian Radio Television Public Company there’s a program called “Demo”, which broadcasts music sent to it by Italian Indie musicians.
I suggest you to check their website and download their podcasts, so you’ll both have an opportunity to learn more Italian and get up to speed on what young Italian musicians are into.
